. Please read this postscript after finishing the book. en reread if after hav-
ing had at least three months to put into diligent practice what you have
learned from this book. Regular reviewing of this postscript will help you to
keep tabs on how well you are doing in applying what you have learned.

. I am not trying to irritate you by checking up on you. I am being supportive
because I want you to make the most of your training. is book has shown
you how to build a superbly muscled, strong, fit, lean and healthy physique.
But you have to apply the instruction for it to yield the benefits you want.

. Have you nailed yourself to specific goals and deadlines as I have urged? Are
you organized to succeed? Have you heightened your resolve? Are you mak-
ing each day another small step towards realizing your targets? Have you
become an achievement-orientated, goal-driven, success-attaining person?

. One of the many advantages of having good hands-on training supervision
is that there is someone there to get after you when you do not deliver the
goods; and there is someone there to keep reminding you that you have got
to keep delivering the goods, time after time after time. I am getting after
you so as to ram home the importance of making each day count, so that you
never get caught up in drifting and procrastinating. Achievement in life, be it
training related or otherwise, is about getting a sequence of days, weeks and
months in good order.

. Did you get the last few months of your training life in good order? Did
you stick with an abbreviated program of basic exercises? Did you avoid the
distraction of other routines? Did you train consistently without skipping
workouts? Did you train hard? Did you focus on progressive poundages?
Did you discipline yourself to use good form in every single set? Did you
use small poundage increments? Did you resist the urge to do something
impetuous in the gym that would likely injure you? Did you deliver the train-
ing goods?

. Did you organize your life so that you got enough sleep every night? Did you
watch less  so as to get more sleep? Did you, as much as possible, avoid
activities that would mar your progress in muscle and might? Did you deliver
the goods as far as rest and sleep were concerned?
