fellows (great idea. And it can be, you know, good or bad as unspecified program) and I think it’s a
the personalities of people and how much commitment you’re willing to put into it. At the end
of the day, it’s like opening a door to, ok, here’s a guy you can go ask every question you can’t ask
your boss. Literally, you can go in there and everything you always wanted to ask your boss but –
you’re either afraid of doing it or you don’t think he would be receptive to it or she would be receptive
to itno consequence environment and boy, is that great – you can go ask this guy in a totally no cost,
(laughs). At least I think it is. I’ve good relations with the four people that I have a mentor-mentee
relationship with. So I actually think that I wouldnot mind doing that when I was a young guy or a
new guy starting out. I had unofficial ones, mostly people who were my bosses. I had one boss who
was really not a technical expert and we were in a job where most people would expect them to be a
technivery honorable person, and a very extremely high cal expert but he wasn’t. What he was, was a
character person, and he pulled it off. At the time I thought that was pretty amazing, that he could
perform what I thought was a skillwithout those skills – and then later on, I realized -based job
that well, it requires skill or it requires a lot of trust in the people underneath you. And he had that trust
and he instilled that trust. He was a, he was a delegator before delegation was really popular in a
hiehis character was above reproach and people rarchical military organization. And like I said,
respected him for it and they just quite frankly they didn’t get stuck on the fact that he wasn’t the best
ship handler or the most experienced person in our mission areas. ‘Cause he really didn’t need to be
the way he operated. The unit performed for him
