Conversion disorder is a loss of or change in body function re-fear arises out of an unrealistic interpretation of physical signs dyskinesia, blindness, tunnel vision, anosmia, anesthesia, and paralysis, aphonia, seizures, coordination disturbance, akinesia, social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning (APA, 2000).
