8.2 Conclusion:



  • Recently, we have installed IE3 LT motors in our all the three cement projects.
    The feedback obtained from sites is very satisfactory. The achievement of best
    specific power consumption in recently executed project has also contribution
    of the Premiere efficient LT motors

  • At present, M/s Siemens is manufacturing IE4 efficiency motor range from 1.1
    KW to 400 KW, M/s ABB is manufacturing from 7.5 KW onwards up to 400 KW,
    M/s Bharat Bijlee from 1.1 KW to 37 KW only.

  • Based on present availability of IE4 range of motors & expected payback of 24
    months on the basis of motor rating for 9500 TPD plant`s, we propose to go
    with super premium LT motors from 1.1 KW rating and above & for rating lower
    than 1.1 KW, we should continue with IE 3 for future cement projects.
