1.4 Conclusion
From the above table it is seen that for the floor mounted loaders, the installation
cost will be much lower as compared to hanging type. But for the operation point
of view, truck placement by reversing is a bottleneck however in green field plant,
the layout can be suitably planned to ease of operation. The maintenance as well
as power consumption is higher in case of hanging loader. Though both types of
loaders are in operation in cement plants, it is recommended to go in for floor
mounted type due to various cost advantages.
