Preheater for raw meal preheating before feeding to kiln in cement manufacturing
process can be single string or Double string. Most of the cement plant manufactures
are offering double string preheater with minimum capacity of the plant is around
5000 TPD. Lower than this capacity single string preheater system is being offered.
For a plant capacity of 5000 TPD both the systems can be considered. A techno-
commercial study has shown that both the systems have their own advantages
and disadvantages.
