lonelyin measureless depths of space? Nay,
what we love inour beloved is not the form
butthelife,notthebodybutthesoul. Clear-
eyedlovecanleap acrossdeathsabyss, across
birth'sLethe-stream,andfindandclaspitsown
unerringlythoughnewandalienformbecasket
forthejewel-soulitknows. Whenthisisseen
