Explanation


This prescription is specific for Wind Painful Obstruction Syndrome occurring against a
background of Blood deficiency.



  • Dang Gui, Sheng Di, Bai Shao and Chuan Xiong form the Si Wu Tang Four
    Substances Decoction and nourish and harmonize Blood.

  • Qin Jiao and Can Sha expel Wind and Dampness.

  • Yi Yi Ren expels Dampness.

  • Gan Cao harmonizes.
