  • Niu Xi, Shan Jia, Chi Shao and Bai Shao move Blood. Niu Xi also nourishes sinews
    and bones.


This formula tonifies Kidney-Yang, benefits bones, expels Wind-Dampness, dries Dampness and
moves Blood. It is suitable only for conditions characterized by a definite Yang deficiency and
internal Cold.

Explanation


This formula expels Wind from the Upper Burner, clears Heat and drains Dampness from the
Lower Burner, and moves Blood and resolves Phlegm in the Middle Burner. It therefore treats
Painful Obstruction Syndrome stemming from all three Burners.
