- The first seven herbs make up the Cang Bai Er Chen Tang, i.e. the Er Chen Tang plus
Cang Zhu and Bai Zhu. This formula resolves Dampness. - Du Huo is added to enter the channels of the lower back, thus resolving Dampness from
the lower back.

Explanation

sacrum. The back feels very soft on pressure and does not ache on pressing. The pulse is
Slippery.
- The first six herbs constitute the Er Chen Tang which resolves Dampness and Phlegm.
- Bai Zhu tonifies the Spleen and resolves Dampness.
- Bi Xie resolves Dampness from the Bladder channel.
