- If there are also symptoms of Blood deficiency add Huang Qi Radix Astragali

sinensis and Ji Xue Teng Caulis Millettiae seu Caulis Spatholobi. - If the illness is very long-standing and symptoms of Kidney-Yang deficiency appear
(such as incontinence of urine) in addition to those of Kidney-Yin deficiency reduce the
dosage of Huang Bo and Zhi Mu and add Lu Jiao Cornu Cervi, Bu Gu Zhi Fructus
Psoraleae corylifoliae, Ba Ji Tian Radix Morindae officianlis and Rou Gui Cortex
Cinnamomi cassiae.
