Explanation

This formula, which has already been explained in Chapters 9 and 12 , is very frequently used to
stop bleeding from Qi deficiency. It is selected in preference to the previous two when there is
also a deficiency of Heart-Blood causing insomnia, anxiety and forgetfulness.
