LU-7 Lieque, L.I.-4 Hegu, BL-12 Fengmen (with cupping), ST-36 Zusanli, G.B.-20 Fengchi,
Du-16 Fengfu, BL-13 Feishu, L.I.-20 Yingxiang, Du-23 Shangxing, BL-18 Ganshu. Reducing
method on all points, even method on ST-36 and BL-18 Ganshu.


Explanation



  • LU-7, L.I.-4 and BL-12 are the three most important points to expel Wind-Cold.
    Cupping on BL-12 is extremely effective. In most cases, just these three points are
    sufficient to clear the condition. Other points may be selected according to symptoms and
    signs and these have already been explained under the previous pattern.

  • ST-36 harmonizes Nutritive and Defensive Qi.

  • BL-18: some doctors use this point to nourish Nutritive Qi and Blood and therefore
    harmonize Nutritive and Defensive Qi.

Bai Shao Radix Paeoniae albae 9 g
Sheng Jiang Rhizoma Zingiberis officinalis recens 9 g
Da Zao Fructus Ziziphi jujubae 3 dates
Zhi Gan Cao Radix Glycyrrhizae uralensis praeparata 6 g
