- Fu Ling Pi drains Dampness, resolves oedema and promotes urination.
- Yi Yi Ren, Zhu Ling and Tong Cao resolve Dampness via urination.
- Da Fu Pi fragrantly resolves Dampness.
- Zhu Ye clears Heat and benefits urination.

Explanation
This formula, a variation of Bai Hu Tang which clears Stomach-Heat, is used if there is a marked
prevalence of Heat over Dampness.
Variations
The following variations apply to all four previous formulae.
- If Dampness affects the head causing a pronounced feeling of heaviness and muzziness
of the head add (or increase) Shi Chang Pu Rhizoma Acori graminei, Yuan Zhi Radix
Polygalae tenuifoliae and Bai Zhi Radix Angelicae dahuricae. - If symptoms of Heat are pronounced add (or increase) Zhi Zi Fructus Gardeniae
jasminoidis and Huang Qin Radix Scutellariae baicalensis. - If there is ache in the muscles add (or increase) Pei Lan Herba Eupatorii fortunei, Sha
Ren Fructus seu Semen Amomi and Bai Dou Kou Fructus Amomi cardamomi. - If the urine is dark add Ze Xie Rhizoma Alismatis orientalis, Che Qian Zi Semen
