Damp-Heat

Aversion to cold, fever which is worse in the afternoon, headache as if the head were wrapped, a
feeling of heaviness and oppression of the chest and epigastrium, a sticky taste, no thirst.

Tongue: white-sticky coating.

Pulse: Weak-Floating, Slow.

Dry-Heat

Fever, slight aversion to cold, slight sweating, dryness of skin, mouth, nose and throat, a sore
throat, dry cough.

Tongue: Red, dry, thin-white coating.

Pulse: Floating-Rapid.

High fever, no aversion to cold, aversion to heat, breathlessness, cough with thin-yellow or
