- Huang Bo and Cang Zhu drain Dampness.
- Fang Feng, Xi Xian Cao, Cang Er Zi, Fu Ping and Bai Xian Pi clear Wind from the
skin and resolve Dampness. - She Chuang Zi drains Dampness and clears Heat. It is specific for chronic skin diseases.
This formula is for chronic eczema from Damp-Heat with dark lesions usually in a limited area
oozing fluid and with a thick-rough skin.
External Treatment
Prescription
The application of herbs externally is very beneficial for chronic eczema. The herbs may be
boiled in the usual way except with a much larger quantity of water and then strained. The
resulting liquid may then be poured in a shallow bath and let the patient bathe in this water.
