Shenting, G.B.-13 Benshen.


Explanation



  • LIV-3 is the main point to simultaneously move Liver-Qi and calm the Mind. In
    combination with L.I.-4 (the "Four Gates"), it has a very powerful calming effect on the
    Mind.

  • LIV-14, Front-Collecting point of the Liver, moves Liver-Qi.

  • P-6 and P-7, indirectly connected to the Liver via the Terminal Yin channels, move
    Liver-Qi and calm the Mind. P-6 has more of a moving effect and lifts mood, while P-7 is
    better at calming the Mind when there is severe mental restlessness.

  • T.B.-6 moves Liver-Qi.

  • Du-24 and G.B.-13 powerfully calm the Mind in any Liver pattern.
