  • If there are signs of Phlegm in the head add Bai Zhu Rhizoma Atractylodis
    macrocephalae, Tian Ma Rhizoma Gastrodiae elatae and Ban Xia Rhizoma Pinelliae

Sheng Ma Rhizoma Cimicifugae
Chai Hu Radix Bupleuri
Sheng Jiang Rhizoma Zingiberis officinalis recens
Da Zao Fructus Ziziphi jujubae

This remedy tonifies and raises Qi and may be used for tinnitus from deficient Lung-Qi not
brightening the ears. Chai Hu benefits the ears.


Heart-Blood Deficiency


Clinical Manifestations


Intermittent tinnitus with low sound and gradual onset, dull-pale complexion, palpitations,
insomnia, poor memory, slight anxiety.


Tongue: Pale and Thin.


Pulse: Weak or Choppy especially on the left Front position.


This tinnitus is due to deficient Heart-Blood not reaching the head.
