Explanation
This formula, which has already been explained in Chapter 1, moves Liver-Qi, nourishes

Variations
- If the symptoms of Blood deficiency are pronounced increase the dosage of Dang Gui
and add Shu Di Huang Radix Rehmanniae glutinosae praeparata and Shou Wu Radix
Polygoni multiflori. - If the symptoms of Qi stagnation are very pronounced add Xiang Fu Rhizoma Cyperi
rotundi and Mu Xiang Radix Saussureae. - If the Qi stagnation affects the breasts add Qing Pi Pericarpium Citri reticulatae viridae.
- If Qi stagnation is causing depression add He Huan Pi Cortex Albizziae julibrissin.
