• Bi Xie and Chang Pu separate the clear from the turbid in the urinary tract and drain
  Dampness.


• Che Qian Zi and Huang Bo drain Damp-Heat.


• Fu Ling and Bai Zhu tonify the Spleen and drain Dampness.


• Lian Zi and Dan Shen clear the Heart, move Blood, open the Water passages and
  separate the clear from the turbid.

Variations

• If there is distension of the hypogastrium add Wu Yao Radix Linderae strychnifoliae and
  Xiang Fu Rhizoma Cyperi rotundi.


• If there is blood in the urine add Xiao Ji Herba Cephalanoplos segeti, Ou Jie Nodus
  Nelumbinis nuciferae rhizomatis and Bai Mao Gen Rhizoma Imperatae cylindricae.
