Explanation
This prescription is chosen if there is deficiency of Kidney-Yin and Empty-Heat with such
symptoms as scanty-dark urine with slight burning. It is suitable to treat chronic, recurrent
cystitis occurring against a background of Kidney-Yin deficiency and Bladder Damp-Heat.
The tongue presentation is a Red and peeled tongue with red spots and a sticky-yellow coating
on the root.
