Aunque followed by the subjunctive indicates that the idea introduced by this word is a
condition rather than a fact.
Aunque me lo pidan no se lo daré.
Even if they ask me for it I will not give it to them.
Incluso aunque me lo explicaras creo que no lo entendería.
Even if you explained it to me I think I wouldn’t understand it.
