c. The box to the right is currently empty. You can have Excel look at the
value in another cell or you can type in the value that you want. Type in
a capital J, as shown in the following figure.
d. In the middle is a large rectangle that says “No Format Set”. This
means that Excel does not know what to do if the condition you typed in
exists. Click on the box to the right marked “Format...”.
e. You will see a modified version of the Format Cells dialog box. Click on
the tab marked Patterns and then click on the bright yellow square in
the fourth row down from the top. Click OK twice to exit.
f. Now go back to any of the green shaded cells and type in a capital J.
You will now get a yellow smiley face.
