Using the Application..............................................................................................................

To begin the game, the student (or teacher, if you are using this as a group

activity) can delete any answers remaining from the previous game. Then, the

student presses F9 to produce a new sum and product. When the student

arrives at the answer, they can type the numbers into the red cells, type a

question mark into the blue cell, press Enter, and then the F9 key.

If the student needs to correct his or her answer, the question mark needs to

stay in the cell, or the problem will change. After a few attempts, the student

can discover the correct answer by typing “show” into the blue cell, pressing

Enter and then the F9 key.

When you close the worksheet, Excel will ask if you want to save your changes.

It is not necessary to do so, but saying yes will not harm anything.
