a. Alignment tab: Change Vertical to Center, and click the box next to
Merge Cells.
b. Border tab: Click on Outline.
c. Patterns: Select the light tan color from the bottom row of the palette.
Click OK to exit.
- Type the following into this text box:
Type your message into the grid below, putting one letter into each square. For a
blank space between words, press the space bar one time. The secret code will be
written out in the grid at the bottom of the page. - Add borders to the grid.
Move your cursor to cell B7. Left click and drag to the right and down to
cell P13. Click on the Borders icon on the toolbar at the top of the page and
select All Borders from its drop-down menu. - Copy and paste the grid into the worksheet.
While the grid is still highlighted, press Crtl+C to copy. Move your cursor to
cell B19 and press Ctrl+V to paste the grid. - Select and format range A15:Q17.
Move your cursor to cell A15, left-click and drag right and down to cell Q17.
Right-click and select Format Cells. Make the same changes that you made
in Step 5. - Type in the following in this text box:
