So what’s next for the Erasmatron technology?
Well, the basic technology is, I feel, ready to go commercially right now. We still need to
build a front end and so forth, but we are ready to begin the commercialization process
immediately. My next primary task is to commercialize this technology. I’m not sure
how to proceed on that point.
Would you ever be interested in working on a more traditional game again?
At this point I would be interested and willing to consult with people on various game
designs. That is, I wouldn’t mind going in and looking at a project and identifying funda-
mental design problems in it, or assisting. But I don’t think I would want to accept
responsibility for creating a commercial product for the games industry at this time. I’m
happy to help somebody else do it. But that’s such a political and nasty process, and less
and less time is spent on the creative aspects and more on the political aspects that
don’t interest me.
