Respect Your Wife


Awomanisproudofherselfjustthesameasamanwouldbe,Shelikes
toberespectedbyothers.Shewouldgethurtifsheweretobeinsulted
orbelittled.She feelsgoodwhenrespected andwould hate thosewho
try to degrade her.


DearSir!yourwifesurelyexpectsyoutorespecthermorethanothers.
Shehaseveryrighttoexpectherlifepartnerandbestfriendtocare for
her.Sheworksforyouandyourchildren'scomfortandthusexpectsyou
tovaluehereffortsandtorespecther.Honouringherwouldnotbelittle
you butitwould indeedgo to prove your love andaffection towards
her.Therefore,respecthermorethanothersandtalktoherpolitely.Do
not interrupt her or shout at her. Call her byrespectful and virtuous
names.Showyourrespectwhenshewantstositdown.Whenyouenter
thehouse, ifsheforgetstosay'Salam'(greetings),thenyoushouldsay
'Salam' to her.


Say'Good-bye'whenleavingyourhouse.Donotlosecontactwithher
whentravellingorawayfromhome.Writetoher.Showyourrespectfor
herwheningatherings.Seriouslyavoidallinsultsandhumiliation.Do
notabuseoreven jokinglyteaseher.Donot thinkthatbecauseyouare
closetohershewouldnotmindyoumakingfunofher.Onthecontrary
she will dislike such an attitude but may not express it.
