Be Grateful


Houseworkmaypossiblyseemaneasyjobto somemen,butitisonly
fair to acknowledge it as a hard and tedious job.


Ahousewife,evenifsheworksalldayandnight,wouldnotbeableto
finishallherwork.Cooking,cleaning,washingtheclothesandironing,
washingthedishesandarrangingthem,makingthebeds,andarranging
the furniture and above all taking care of children, not one day, but
everyday is very difficult.


Amanmightthinkthathiswifeisjustcookingfoodthreetimesaday
andforgetsaboutthe restof herwork.Onlyamanwho ispreparedto
stayin the house'oramonthanddo the housework,wouldknow the
pressures involved. Re would then appreciate his wife's efforts.


Ahousewifedoesallthisworkhappilybutsheexpectsherhusbandto
appreciate her and to show his gratitude.


DearSir!Whatiswrongwith thankingyour wifeforherh0usekeep-
ing?Whyshouldyounotexpressyourfondnessforthefoodshecooks?
Whatiswrongwiththankingherwithregardtohereffortsintakingcare
of your children? Are you not aware that your appreciation for her
would encourage and refresh her?


Ifyouremainindifferenttoherefforts,ordonotshowyourgratitude,
shewouldloseinterestinthehouseworkandthenyouwouldcomplain
abouther.Youshouldknowthatyoucouldbethecauseofyourwife's
indolence.


If a stranger does you a small favour, you would thank him many
times,butuponyourwife'smanyfavoursyouarenoteventhankingher
