Be Clean at Home Also

Observingcleanlinessis necessaryforeveryone everywhere.Onemust
alwayskeephisbodyandclothesclean.He mustbathehimselfatleast
oncea week and must washhis face and handswith soap and water
everymorning. He must brush his teeth, comb his hair, trimhis hair,
wash his feet. wear clean socks everyday and must also wear pure
clothes.Theholyreligionof Islamemphasisesgreatlyaboutcleanliness
and being well-dressed.

TheProphet(SA)ofAllahstated:'Cleanlinessisapartofthefaith(of
Islam)'.''"TheHolyProphet(SA)sawamanwhowasdirty,hadmessy
hairandlookedunattractive, TheProphet(SA)stated:'Usingthebless-
ingsofAllahisapartofthefaith(ofIslam)'.""TheProphet(SA)ofIslam

on brushing the teeth that I feared for them'."

"Imam'Ali(AS)stated:'Allahisbeautifulandhelikesbeauty.Andhe
alsolikesto see the effectof hisblessings onhis servants'. Cleanliness
andbeauty is not onlyfor women, butmen should alsobe clean and
well-dressed. Some men are not bothered about their cleanliness and
takeabathonlyonceinawhile.They donotcareforthestateoftheir
clothesanddonotbotherabouttrimmingtheirbeards.Theysmellbadly
and thus make others keep away from them.

Thosemenwhoarccarefulaboutcleanlinessanddolayimportanceon
theirclothing,mostlydosooutsidetheirownhouses. Thatistheylook
cleanandwell-dressedoutsidethehouseforthepeople,notinsidetheir
homesfortheirfamilies.They appearverysmart inthestreets, gather-
ings, etc butas soon as they return home, they change into worn out
