withoutanymake-upandshouldabstainfromshowingofftheirbeauty
to others.
ObservingHijab is an Islamic duty.The Almighty Allah saysin the
Holy Qur'an:
"And say to the believing women that they should cast down their
looksandguardtheirprivateparts,andnotdisplaytheirornamentsex-
ceptwhat appearsthereofandlet themweartheir headcoverings and
notdisplay'theirornamentsexcepttotheirhusbandsortheirfathers,or
thefatheroftheirhusbands,theirsons,orthesonsoftheirhusbandsor
theirbrothers or theirbrother's sonsor theirsisters'sons, or theirwo-
men,orthosewhomtheirrighthandspossess,ormaleservantsnothav-
ingneed(ofwomen),orthechildrenwhohavenotattainedknowledge
of what is hidden of women;and let themnot striketheir feet so'hat
whattheyhideoftheirornamentsmaybeknown;andturntoAllahall
of you, so that you may be successful (24:31)."
IslamicHijabanditsobservanceinsociety,isbeneficial towomenin
many aspects:
(I)Theycanprotectboththeirsocialworthandinnervaluesmuchbet-
ter, and guard themselves against just being an object on display.
(2)Theycan proveboththeirfaithandlovefortheirhusbandsmore
effectivelyandthushelpcreateandmaintainawarmfamilyatmosphere
while preventing ill-feelings and family rows. In short, they can win
their husband's hearts and establish themselves in their families.
(3) By observing Islamic Hijab, unlawful flirtation looks by such
peopleasoglerswouldceaseandhelpinlesseningtheamountofrows,
strengtheningthe familyroots,andasaresult createanatmosphereof
tranquillity within its circle.
(4)IslamicHijabofwomenwouldalsohelppreventyoungunmarried
men,fromdeviatingfromthe rightpath.Thusforestallingharm tothe
young men, which would also benefit the women of the society.
(5)IfallwomenobservedtheregulationofIslamicHijab,thenallwo-
men couldrest assuredthat their husbands, whennot at homewould
notencounteralewdwomanwhomightdrawhisattentionawayfrom
the family.
Islamisawareofwoman'sspecificnatureofcreationandregardsher
asaveryimportantbaseofsocietywithresponsibilitiestowardsit.Itde-
