The Trustee of the House


Menareusuallythesupportersofthefamily.Theyworkhardandspend
theirearningsontheirwivesandchildren.Theyregardthisastheirduty
and do not ever show their displeasure in their hardship.


Butmen alsoexpecttheirwives toeconomiseandnotto spendtheir
moneyextravagantly.Thewomenareexpectedtoclassifythenecessities
andspendontheprioritiessuchasfood,clothes,medicine,rent,electri-
city,telephone,gasandwater-bills.Placingsuchitemsasluxury goods
onthe list ofone's priorities isregarded as squandering andwasteful.
Mendo notliketheirwives tomisuse theirmoneyinbuyingunneces-
sary goods or lavishly spending.


If amanfinds his wife trustworthy of caringforhis money, ifheis
surethat his wife doesnot spend lavishlyand ifhe iscertain that his
hardearnedmoneyisnotwastedawayhewouldthenworkharderand
would not waste his money.


Ontheotherhand,ifthewomanspendsthemoneyonherclothesand
adornment,orifshespendsonunnecessaryitemsandtheywouldhave
toborrowinordertolive,orif(hefamily, likeaninfidel enemy.plun-
dershiswealth,thenthemanwillbecomedisheartened.Hewouldlose
interestinworkingandsupportinghisfamily.Hewouldthinkitillogical
to workandsupportthe people who do notappreciate hisefforts. He
may even go astray and follow a corrupt path. It might shatter the
foundations of the family.
