The ring with central swivel panel, decorated to one side with a plaited

hairwork and half pearl cluster, to the other side with a monochrome

enamel funerary urn motif, above a glazed monogram, the border

inscribed ‘OB 25 July 1813 AET 64’, to a pierced scrolling mount, the

brooch with central glazed compartment containing a plaited hairwork

panel, within a half pearl border, the reverse inscribed ‘Chas. Selwin Esq.

OB 29 Aug. 1794, AET 78’, ring size Q. (2)
