YOGA


(pratyāhāra), concentration (dhārana),
meditation (dhyāna), and absorption
(samādhi). In the Bhagavad Gita, yoga is
understood as comprised of three paths


that lead to spiritual fulfillment:
jñānayoga (wisdom or knowledge), kar-
mayoga (action), and bhaktiyoga (ecstatic
or loving devotion).
