As well as the overall face, it’s worth taking a moment to look at how the individual
features are constructed. The hardest of these is possibly the ear, as we spend the
least time looking at it! Everyone’s ears are different, but there are general features
that you can use to make your character’s ear look credible.Refine the main

to create the fold of
the ear. Then draw
a semicircle and add
some other detailing

Take the same ear and draw
it from a three-quarter angle
by compressing the whole
shape sideways.The profile of the ear
from behind is sim-
pler. Draw a narrow
C-shape, with a line
down it to create the
fold at the edge of the
ear. Add light shading.Start with two circles, one
bigger than the other. Join
them with a vertical line.
