12.6.2 Pulpal obliteration
Obliteration of the pulp chamber and canal is a common reaction to trauma (679HFig.
12.11). Clinically, the tooth becomes yellow/opaque. Normal exfoliation is usual but
occasionally periapical inflammation may intervene and therefore annual radiography
is advisable.
