ARROW STRIPS OF SANDPAPERused to sand turnings or curved
objects tend to tear, cutting less efficiently as they get shorter
until they become just useless pieces of expensive paper. To make
them last longer, back them with fiberglass strapping tape; they’ll be
virtually untearable.
