Xiamen and Taiwan flights; typhoons

and earthquakes. Mapping involves

the use of graphical means to

demonstrate connections between

different types of data and

phenomena. The Taiwan Strait

project requires the analysis and

understanding of complex issues

such as political and climatic

complexity, as well as high urban

density design. CHORA’s analysis

put these issues together in context

and proposed solutions to tackle the

problems that they defined.
