Twitter


Twitter is an online social networking and
microblogging service that enables its users to send
and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters,
informally known as "tweets".

This one-to-many communication medium got its
start as a platform for individuals to announce
“what they were doing.” However, it has grown up
significantly and has also become a communication
medium for short bursts of information that are
timely in nature.
