Hungry predators lurk
nearby, so zebras stick
close to wildebeests,
which are preferred
prey. Once on the
northern plains, the
two herbivores tend
to seek out different
grazing areas. Zebras
need more food, pre-
ferring to graze on
taller grasses with
their long front teeth.
