Helicobacter Pylori
This is a gram negative bacteria which can be detected by a serum test, discovered
by gastric biopsy and ELISA for anti-H. pyloriimmunoglobulin G. A carbon
isotope urea breath test can reveal the presence of H. pylori(which has a false-
negative rate of 5 to 15 percent).
