elcome to the 193rd issue of American Art Collector,

which also means we’ve been publishing this magazine

for more than 16 years. As we refl ect each issue on what we

are proud of, this month, it is that American Art Collector is

and will continue to be a monthly magazine. That is correct,

12 times a year you receive the newest news and information

via AAC (as we aff ectionately call it). Our beautiful printed

magazine, website and digital issue. 

Did you know that every single month our content changes

entirely on our website to mirror the most recent contemporary

representational art that’s featured in our magazine? This is no

small feat. Why do we do it? There are several reasons. First

and foremost, we have become the voice of the American

contemporary representational art world. Rochelle Belsito and

her team are phenomenal. She has the pulse of the community

and delivers fresh features month after month.  It would be

impossible to shrink this information into six issues a year.

Second, you, our subscribers. We hear from you every month

and we know you look forward to receiving each issue. We receive

your comments on the cover, on our editorial, tons of comments

on the art itself and on our sold pages. We know we are doing

something right when our readers are so engaged and growing.

Finally, and so very important, we produce 12 times a year for

our galleries, auctions and artist advertisers. The American art

market moves too fast to follow a six-times-a-year magazine or a

mixed-genre magazine to get your current collector information. 

November is also the season for shows! We have previews

of more than 14 gallery exhibitions from across the country. If

you haven’t been to an in-person art exhibition recently, this

issue gives you a great number to choose from. As you know

you can always inquire directly to the gallery early with art you

see on our pages. Not enough room on your wall? We have
