YO U SAY
Country girl: Beeny (C4, 8pm)
I enjoy watching Masterchef (BBC1), but why can
no one pronounce mille feuilles? It is obviously
French and is not pronounced “mille foyes”. I
cringe every time it is pronounced. Please publish
this letter rather than another boring Routemaster.
Joan Beaumont

to select tinned food from the pantry. Food is
stored in a larder; bread is stored in a pantry.
