Fred Harburgis the chief learning officer and president of Motorola
University. He and his team are building the competencies, capa-
bilities, and intellectual capital of Motorola associates through the
provision of global business learning solutions and systems. Harburg
served as a pilot and aircraft commander in the United States Air
Force and was a faculty officer at the Air Force Academy, where he
directed the industrial and organizational psychology and honors
leadership curricula. Harburg has held leadership roles as a consul-
tant and human capability architect for several of the world’s pre-
mier Fortune 100 companies. He has played particularly fulfilling
roles working with senior executives in major corporate change
efforts. He is a frequent speaker, adviser, and facilitator in executive
development efforts aimed at integrating spiritual, intellectual,
emotional, financial, and physical capabilities for worthy aims.
