Sharon Sullivanis vice president, human resources–global com-
pensation and benefits, learning, and effectiveness for Eli Lilly and
Company. She is responsible for organizational effectiveness, Lilly
University, global security, global human resource process and data
integration, global compensation and benefits, human resource ser-
vices, corporate health services, and executive compensation.


Bryan Dunnivantjoined Eli Lilly and Company in 1982. He
worked in Lilly’s engineering component, doing design work for
manufacturing facilities before moving to Lilly’s financial division
in 1986. Since then, Dunnivant has shouldered a wide variety of
financial responsibilities, including managerial assignments in
Europe. He moved into his current job as manager of operations for

Laurie Sachtlebenis a senior writer and editor in Eli Lilly and Com-
pany’s corporate communications group. She has nearly two dozen
years of experience in journalism, public relations, crisis communi-
