Exercise #8: The Steps



  1. Close your eyes and relax.

  2. Invision an open sky. Create a gauge for clearness.

  3. Dirty up that sky. Cloud it over with smoke.

  4. Let the sky clear. How clear can you let it be?

  5. Check gauge.

  6. Check into your feelings of comfort or discomfort.

  7. Let sky and gauge return to norm (where you are
    comfortable).


When you wish to increase your power in any sphere of
life, it is best to proceed slowly and in small increments or
you will cause yourself anxiety, confusion, and discomfort.

Balance and Imbalance


Most people feel they are lacking or burdened in at least
one of these seven main categories:



  • Money

  • Possessions

  • Health

  • Bodily appearance and attractiveness

  • Relationships

  • Sex

  • Time


Few people feel they have complete satisfaction in every
one of these areas. Most people's lives are filled up with what
they don't want in each category, rather than what they do
want. For many, problems come with having either too little
or too much of each category.
For example:



  1. There is too little money, causing feelings of hunger or
    deprivation. Or there is too much money, and managing it
    becomes an exhausting full-time operation that destroys
    the pleasure in life.
