Chapter Thirty-Three
Leader Hammond led a delegation of the Prouds tribe,
comprising senior knights such as Jarvis, Milton, and
Reynold, to Cintana. They had changed their black
mourning clothes with their famous white clothes.
Most members of the delegation were angry
because they did not want to make peace with the king nor
visit him. Contrary to their leader, Hammond, and his
friend, Milton, were very happy for the success of their
scheme.
As they reached Fitoma Palace, they found the king
and his son, Prince Harlem, with a long scar on his neck, as
well as senior figures of the kingdom. For the first time,
Jarvis was entering Fitoma Palace with peace for its
residents, the same palace he entered one day to fight its
residents.
Members of the delegation were amazed by the
palace’s beauty and luxury, as they were desert people,
who lived a harsh life and were not used to such bliss and
beauty.
“Welcome, Leader Hammond and all the Prouds,”
said the king smiling.
“Greetings, Our King Matthew,” the leader replied
smiling. “Your soldiers and Widea’s soldiers, the Prouds,
have come to you.”
