kings and because you have mean enemies who will seize
any opportunity, when you seem weak and vulnerable, to
attack you.”
He did not reply at all. She started crying silently,
because she did not want him to think that he, the great
king, was pitied. She left the room while he remained the
same way. No words, no matter who said them, could have
comforted him at all. What happened could not be
remedied.
