NERVOUS SYSTEM


The nervous system is an extensive, intricate network of structures that activates, coordinates, and controls the func-
tions of all other body systems. It can be grouped into two main divisions: the central nervous system (CNS)and the
peripheral nervous system (PNS). The CNS consists of the brain and spinal cord and is the control center of the
