HOSPITALITY

Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to
another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (I Peter 4:9-10)

The gift of hospitality is a special ability God gives to certain members of the Body of Christ to
provide food and lodging for those in need. A requirement for the use of this spiritual gift is that
it is done without grudging. Grudging means resenting having to do it.

Hospitality is an evidence of unhypocritical love:

Let love be without dissimulation... given to hospitality... (Romans 12:9,13)

Hospitality is one of the qualifications of a bishop:

A bishop then must be...given to hospitality...(I Timothy 3:2)

For a bishop must be blameless...a lover of hospitality... (Titus 1:7-8)
