Thinking of St Lucia conjures up images
of tropical relaxation, but with striking
landscapes and a rich heritage, there are a
host of unique experiences to try here, too.
Couples and families will fi nd an ideal base
at Windjammer Landing: spread across 60
acres of hillside, this resort organises tours
to uncover all the country has to off er.

TRY UNDERWATER BREATHWORK
See St Lucia at sunrise with a therapeutic
diving experience. Learn visualisation and
mindfulness techniques as you cruise across
the water to a scenic dive site, getting ready
to jump below the waves for a unique yoga
and breathwork session. Finish the outing
exploring the island’s underwater world,
discovering its rich life amid total tranquillity.

DISCOVER ITS COCOA HERITAGE
St Lucia’s history of chocolate-making dates
back to the 17th century, and to discover it,
opt for a full-day tour with Hotel Chocolat.
This experience includes a catamaran trip
and a bean-to-bar experience, plus a tasty
cocoa-based lunch. For a hands-on activity,
you can also join a chocolate-making class,
grinding your own beans and adding mint,
ginger or coconut for a personalised treat.

HIKE THE PITONS
Petit Piton and Gros Piton are two
mountainous volcanic spires that form a
UNESCO World Heritage Site, linked by the

Piton Ridge. To see them up close, join a
sunset cruise to the Sugar Beach in Soufrière,
where you can snorkel over a protected
reef nestled between the two peaks. More
adventurous travellers can try the Gros Piton
hike, a guided trail that’s well worth the
eff ort for the panoramic views of St Lucia.

VISIT SULPHUR SPRINGS
The world’s only drive-in volcano is one of St
Lucia’s most-loved attractions, and for good
reason. While this otherworldly site last
erupted around 200 years ago, it’s still an
active geothermal fi eld, and respite-seekers
can take a bath in therapeutic mud pools
and mineral-rich waters.

JOIN A FULL MOON RITUAL
If you’re dreaming of moonlit romance, a
full-moon ritual might just be the ticket.
Start the experience with yin yoga and
guided meditation, continue with a night
dive and underwater breathwork, and end
the evening with a plant-based dinner under
the stars. This communal experience can
also be booked as a private event for two,
complete with a relaxing couples massage.

Windjammer Landing organises outings, activites
and expeirences to help guests discover St Lucia.
Facilities at the resort include a wellness centre and
fi ve restaurants. Choose one of various all-inclusive
packages, such as Ultimate Romance, which allows
couples to relax knowing everything is taken care of.
